Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a native of Minsk which is the capital city of Belarus. Sergey was a hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk, Belarus on May 5th of 1998. Over the course of her career, she's had 12 WTA singles titles, including a Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. Doubles is an additional area in which she is a pro. It was the US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both played by Elise Martens. Then she also won the Sunshine Double in 2019, and won her the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open alongside Elise Mertens. Only four women's pairs had achieved this achievement. In the month of January, 2023, she achieved her highest rank in singles. In the 23rd of August in 2021, she shot to second place in the rankings. Her climb up to the top of the doubles rankings in the following year, following winning in Melbourne. That made her the second Belarusian tennis player succeed in her field. The coach she was working with was former Russian tennis player Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the end of the season of 2019 and also at the beginning of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann had a brief stint as her partner in August of 2020 until September. Antonio Dubrov, her fellow countryman has been her coach in the years since 2020. Serena Williams is her role model, being followed by Maria Sharapova.
